Samobor is close to Zagreb and easy to reach by bus or by car. The bus station is in town.
A simple plan for the day
No rush. This is one way to spend a day; swap anything you like.
- Morning: coffee and kremšnita on the main square.
- Late morning: walk up to the old castle ruins.
- Lunch: an izletište, a country inn in the hills, or a restaurant in town.
- Afternoon: a museum, or a walk along the Gradna.
- Before you leave: a bottle of bermet and a jar of muštarda to take home.
