What this is
Samobor Guide is a travel guide and a directory for Samobor and Sveta Nedelja, just west of Zagreb. It helps you find a table, a room, a walk, and the number to call. It is written for visitors from abroad, for day-trippers and for locals.
What you will not find here
No local news, no gossip, no crime reports, no reviews and no comments. Every text and every announcement is checked before it goes online.
Who runs it
Samobor Guide is a family project. Simon Mast’s mother was born in Samobor, and he runs this guide together with a member of the family who lives in Samobor – one in Switzerland, one right here in town.

The data
The directory starts from open data: Overture Maps Foundation, Places, Release 2026-10-21.0 (CDLA-Permissive-2.0 / Apache-2.0 / CC0), retrieved 23.10.2026. Today it lists 633 places. Entries can be incomplete or out of date; businesses can claim and correct their listing for free.
The photos
The photos are AI concept images. They show the mood of the region, not real places or businesses. Real photos of Samobor will replace them step by step.
