Gabreku 1929 is one of the oldest family-run hospitality establishments in the Samobor area, first opened in 1929. Nestled at the foot of the Old Town walls, opposite the historic little Church of St. Michael and alongside the Gradna stream, it is just a short walk from Vugrinščak, Samobor’s much-loved park, promenade and bathing area.
Our menu features traditional specialties from Samobor and the surrounding region, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Among our wide selection of dishes, you will find several that have been served here for more than eight decades, still prepared according to their original traditional recipes.
